ACL Race Series tri-metal bearings are made to tight tolerances. CNC machining works to the micron, followed by metrology checks on diameter, thickness and width. The result is a consistent, reliable fit in a performance engine. Each ACL Race Series tri-metal bearing is in fact built up from four layers:

• SAE1010 steel backing on the outside
• 0.3mm copper alloy
• 0.0001mm nickel
• 0.013 to 0.018mm copper alloy
