Set of 8 inlet and exhaust valve stem seals for Opel and Vauxhall Z16LER, Z18XER, A18XER, 5 mm stem.
This set fits the 5 mm stem valves of the Opel and Vauxhall 16-valve four-cylinders: 1.6 Turbo Z16LER, A16LER and B16LER with 192 hp (Corsa D OPC, Corsa VXR) and 1.8 Z18XER, A18XER and B18XER with 140 hp (Astra H and J GTC, Insignia A, Mokka, Zafira B and Zafira Tourer C), from 2005 to 2019.
Each of these engines has 8 inlet and 8 exhaust valves. SUPERTECH fits the same integral seal on both sides, so a complete head needs 2 sets of 8. The seal caps the guide and only lets through the oil the stem needs.
On the boosted Z16LER as on the naturally aspirated A18XER, each of the 16 seals meters oil around the 5 mm stem and sends the rest back to the head. Through heat cycles the lip hardens, then leaks: the level drops between services, bluish smoke appears when cold or as it pulls away from a long idle, and the 16 heads and 4 plugs foul up, above all on a hard-driven Corsa OPC.
SUPERTECH makes the VSI-GM50-E integral seal from Viton (FKM), for a 10.06 mm guide (outside diameter) and the 5 mm stem. The 8 pieces of a set cover one full side, inlet or exhaust; for the whole head count 2 sets, one single part fitting all 16 valves.

On the Z16LER, Z18XER and A18XER, SUPERTECH keeps a single part: the VSI-GM50-E integral Viton (FKM) seal covers the 8 inlet and the 8 exhaust valves alike, with a 5 mm stem and a 10.06 mm guide throughout. SUPERTECH rates this Viton at 204 °C (400 °F) continuous, a welcome reserve on the exhaust, the hottest side. Plan for 2 sets of 8.
