These guides fit the exhaust side of the cylinder heads of the Nissan VR30DDTT, the 3.0 litre twin-turbo V6 of the Infiniti Q50 and Q60, the Nissan Skyline V37 and the Nissan Z.

The 12 exhaust valves slide in guides with a 5.500 to 5.518 mm bore; on the exhaust side Nissan provides a 0.2 mm oversize on the outside diameter. This kit replaces the 12 guides.

FERREA copper bronze exhaust valve guides

On the exhaust side, the guide holds the valve in line with its seat, directs the very high stem heat to the head and carries the seal. As it wears, the valve starts to chatter, sealing falls away and oil reaches the stem; blue smoke and falling compression then appear.

These FERREA guides are made from a copper and bronze blend of American origin, heat treated with an in-house process that strengthens, according to the brand's catalogue, heat dissipation, wear resistance, hot strength and lubricity. Thanks to rigorous CNC machining, they take titanium or stainless valves. The kit has the 12 VR30DDTT exhaust guides, normally paired with reinforced valves.
