These camshafts fit the following engines (different valves were used, please contact us if in doubt):

• S14 (23 4 EA), 2302cc, 195hp
• S14 (23 4 S2), 2302cc, 215hp
• S14 (25 4 S1), 2467cc, 238hp

Unlike many of its competitors, which machine the lobes from cast steel, CATCAMS cuts its camshafts directly from billet, which makes them far stronger. Most of the time, CATCAMS camshafts are hollow in order to reduce their mass.

CATCAMS expertise in camshafts and their accessories (valve springs, cam followers, vernier cam pulleys, etc.) has been recognised worldwide for many years, thanks to genuine know-how and a precise study of engines and applications. Each camshaft profile has been developed according to the specific features of each engine, but also according to the intended use (road, sport, rally, drag, circuit, etc.).

Two parameters matter when choosing a camshaft profile: valve lift and the angle (duration). Increasing the duration raises power and torque, while increasing the lift optimises power at high engine speeds.
