This engine mount is called a torque mount because its job is to limit the way the engine tries to rotate under the internal torque of the engine itself (crankshaft and flywheel).

This Group N torque mount for the Clio 2 RS Phase 2 and 3 is made up of a hard rubber bush, so that it meets Group N regulations, and of an aluminium structure. Fitting this uprated torque mount for the Clio 2 RS2 and RS3 is therefore very straightforward.

The rubber section of this engine mount is considerably harder than the standard one, which makes it effective while keeping a certain level of comfort: not all the noise and vibration is passed back into the cabin.
