Subaru EZ30R 3.0 H6 forged piston chart: Ø 89.20 mm, 10.7:1 compression ratio, 22 mm pin, 30.30 mm bore. Compatibility: EZ30D/R, vehicles (Legacy, Outback, Tribeca) and OEM piston part numbers.
The EZ30R is the only 24-valve flat-six in our SUBARU range, and this page is given over to it entirely. It carries one reference and one only: the SUPERTECH forged piston kit, in two sizes, 89.2mm bore at a 8.5:1 compression ratio and 89.5mm bore at 9:1.
No rods, no head gasket and no head studs specific to the EZ30R are listed today: the page stops at the forged piston. That piston is still what separates a standard EZ30R from a built one, and it remains the only six-cylinder alternative to the four-cylinder boxers in the SUBARU range.
