ARP was founded in the early 1970s in Southern California when Gary Holzapfel noticed the number of engines that broke down due to the original screws, as at that time there were no alternatives to the original equipment.
ARP arrived by offering a reinforced solution based on steel forging, followed by a heat treatment called quenching with a high degree of precision, followed by thread machining, and finally, metrological quality control.
Indeed, the quality of the steel grade and the precision of Hardening are the two elements that ensure the high performance of the steels subsequently used for screws, studs, and other applications.
