  • NSB CONCEPT offers a BILSTEIN B6 Sport front shock absorber kit for your PEUGEOT 208 1.6 HDi 75hp (2013 onwards), consisting of two BILSTEIN B6 shock absorbers, part number 24-225076.

The BILSTEIN B6 Sport range features optimized compression and rebound damping, resulting in a radical improvement in road holding during acceleration, braking, and especially cornering.

To improve your chassis performance, this is the first purchase you should make.

The new BILSTEIN B6 shock absorber settings will provide greater firmness than your original shock absorbers, which can be particularly noticeable on rough roads. Historically, PEUGEOT SPORT offered a range of PERFO ROAD shock absorbers, which they have discontinued. This BILSTEIN B6 shock absorber kit is its equivalent. You will get the same performance and longevity. If you wish to further optimize your chassis, you can add lowering springs to lower the center of gravity of your PEUGEOT 208 1.6 HDi 75hp (2013 onwards), thus reducing body roll and improving the "flat cornering" phenomenon. Find Eibach Pro-kit and H&R lowering springs for your PEUGEOT 208 1.6 HDi 75hp from 2013 onwards, depending on the amount of lowering you want:

    EIBACH PRO-kit AND H&R SPRINGS

If you want a lowering of more than 35mm to fully benefit from the improved handling of your new BILSTEIN B6 shock absorbers on your PEUGEOT 208 For the 1.6 HDi 75hp model from 2013 onwards, it is necessary to upgrade to the BILSTEIN B8 range, which is identical in every respect to the BILSTEIN B6 range, except for the rod length, which is 30mm shorter in the BILSTEIN B8 to prevent the spring from dislodging in the event of a wheel lift and to avoid failing the vehicle inspection. Furthermore, you will need to choose Eibach springs from the Sportline range, which offer this lowering potential:

EIBACH SPORTLINE AND BILSTEIN B8 SPRINGS

Installing BILSTEIN B6 shock absorbers on a PEUGEOT 208 1.6 HDi 75hp (from 2013 onwards) requires mechanical knowledge and some specific tools such as a spring compressor, which we offer:

    SHOCK ABSORBER SPRING COMPRESSORS

Safety precautions: this operation is very Delicate, be careful never to be in line with the compressed spring (especially the original one, which is very long compared to the EIBACH and H&R springs we offer). If the compressors move for any reason, they can lose their grip, and in that case, the spring will be thrown. Therefore, be careful never to stand in this position.
