The fabric side must face the heat source (400A deg C in direct heat) and the aluminized side facing outwards can withstand up to 1093A deg C in radiant heat. This cover also offers protection against abrasion and various fluids.
It can be installed directly on the vehicle using clips, without removing the manifold.
