The FORD 2.0 8v DOHC, engine codes N8A, N9C and N9E, is the twin-cam four-cylinder fitted among others to the Sierra II 2.0.

A forged piston replaces the cast standard item: it takes higher engine speeds and higher thermal loads, which is what a tuned engine needs to stay reliable. The bore chosen must match the actual size of the block after machining.
