ZRP specialises exclusively in forged engine parts such as forged connecting rods or, as here, a forged crankshaft in high-strength 4340 steel. ZRP crankshafts are supplied factory balanced (report included). The undercut profiled counterweights keep the weight, and therefore the rotating mass, to a minimum. The drilled main journals also contribute to the lightness of the ZRP crankshaft. In addition, the straight, chamfered oil galleries optimise lubrication.
