The naturally aspirated 1.8L 8-valve engine from Audi and Volkswagen, engine code DZ, has four active references here. For the bottom end, WISECO forged pistons with an 81mm bore and 10.5:1 compression, ARP uprated con rod bolts, ACL RACE or KING RACING tri-metal big end bearings with locating lugs, and ACL RACE tri-metal main bearings with Calico coating.
Everything needed to rebuild a strong bottom end for a naturally aspirated build or moderate boost.
