Wiseco was selected among the manufacturers of forged pistons for its quality and its recognized experience since 1941 in the production of performance pistons. Founded in Ohio, east of Cleveland, Wiseco is the most globally recognized brand in forged pistons.

NSB Concept has selected the Wiseco range of forged pistons for their use of 4032 aluminum alloys which has a fairly low expansion and tensile strength and tensile strength meeting all turbo supercharger compressor preparations/conversions.

But also a small range is available for dragster uses in aluminum alloy 2618 with very high density and mechanical resistance but with very strong expansion which is suitable exclusively for the use of dragster prototypes with preheating and engine warm-up time.

For these 2 materials the process is then identical, the aluminum alloy is compressed at very high pressure, what is called forging, before being machined in a 5-axis machining center for fault-free manufacturing and then it depending on the options, receives a high temperature treatment on the piston crown and/or an anti-friction treatment on the forged piston skirt.
